Global Settings. VolFix General Settings

The Global Settings window allows you to change settings that affect all modules and the overall behavior of VolFix.

Information Block

Username - your VolFix login.

VolFix Version - the current version of VolFix.

Backend Server - the current VolFix server.
Referral VolFix - VolFix referral ID.

Referral LMI - LMI referral ID.

Platform Settings

Chart Update Interval, ms - chart update frequency, in milliseconds. More details here.

Auto Run - automatic login to VolFix upon program startup.

Auto Save Current Layout - automatically save the current layout under the name "' 'current layout name' _autosave".

Windows Order by - the order of displaying windows when the window button is pressed in any module.
     Sym-Name-TF - priority order by symbol, window name, and timeframe.

     Name-Sym-TF - priority order by window name, symbol, and timeframe.

Window Close Confirmation - confirmation required to close any VolFix window.

Disable Screen Saver - disables the operating system's screensaver. In the "On" state, the display will always stay on.

Calc Open P&L by - method of calculating open P&L (profit and loss).

     Bid/Ask - by the current bid/ask price.

     Last Trade - by the last trade price.

User Line Visible - default visibility of lines.

Window Snapping Settings

Magnetic windows to display - snap windows to the edges of the display.

Magnetic windows to other - snap windows to other windows.

Automatic Scaling Settings

Scale Button Panel - automatic scaling for high-resolution displays in the red button panel area.

Scale Footer Panel - automatic scaling for high-resolution displays in the footer panel area.

Scale Control Panel - automatic scaling for high-resolution displays in the control panel area.
